In the San Joaquin Valley, nestled close to the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Spring displays the Sierra's snow-peaked caps; enveloped by beautiful saucer clouds of blue, white and pink. Down-stream the Valley floor displays subtle pastel colors of blossoming orchards, signaling the beauty natural life has to offer.
When I was in preschool, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. As I got older, this love never faded and eventually I went to college to study art. Later I taught art to others which broaden my perspective and skills.
I use many different mediums, such as watercolor, drawing, photography and pastels. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
I enjoy traveling in my spare time and many of my pieces are directly influenced by the places and people I meet. I love recreating art that echoes influences of the classical art with a modern twist.
